Pakistan blind cricketers clinch ODI series

LAHORE – Pakistan blind cricket team beat Australia by five wickets to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. Playing in their second ODI match at Park 25, Adelaide, Pakistan won the toss and asked Australia to bat first. Australia made 291 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 40 overs. Mathew Horsey (89) was again the top scorer for Aussies; while Wilson and Lindsay Heaven contributed with 38 and 36 runs, respectively.
Abdul Razzaq bagged two wickets while Anees and Jameel took one wicket each. In reply, Pakistan’s Masood Jan and M Waqas played brilliantly and added more than 100 runs for the second wicket partnership, both completing their half centuries.. M Waqas was bowled on 52 by Lindsay Heaven and Masood Jan made 72 runs off 45 balls.
Muhammad Jameel played a quick fire knock of 60 runs off 40 balls and guided Pakistan to victory in the 29th over, for the loss of 5 wickets.
