Pakistan Peoples’ Party’s Dr Qayyum Soomro was elected as senator unopposed on Saturday.
Mr Soomro replaced Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, who had resigned from the senate after quitting the federal cabinet.
No one submitted nomination papers against Dr Soomro, thus, he was the only candidate for vacant seat in the
Congtares dad
