PTI mulling joining Qadri’s sit-in: Qureshi

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Wednesday said his party was considering joining the sit-in organized by Tehreek Minhajul Quran chief Dr Tahirul Qadri at D-Chowk in the federal capital.
“People are frustrated because of rampant corruption by the Pakistan People’s Party-led federal government and they now want to get rid of it,” he told a private TV channel. He added that Dr Qadri had invited PTI to join the sit-in and they were deliberating over the issue.

  11. Mr. Qureshi, think long and hard. Do you want to ride on the coat tails of Dr. Qadri. The PTI seems to be doing OK on its own. Why do you want to throw this all away for a moment of oppurtunity. You were a part of the PP before being demoted. You jumped the
    wagon. Still you have a lot to contribute but PTI should stick to it's original theme of going it alone. Inform the people og the Govt. failures rather than inflame them. Dr. Qadri is doing the latter.

Now they are all the same with different labels.PTI has shot itself in the foot and I would be surprised if it wins three seats in the next elections after this debacle of neglecting what people demand.Imran SHOULD VISIT PEOPLE more often than his hair stylist.

He is not inforcing any Taxe on you like CARBON TAXE .or SHAHEED BIBI taxe as you , we are Paying these Faltu Taxes…. HE need You and your support ….. Support him and his Party ……………..

  20. Imran Khan should immediately join the Qadri sahb without any hesitation if he want to bring any change in the country and to redress the grievances of the people. he should not hesitate please. we love him and have confindence in him.

  22. To be a successful politician you must be an oppurtunist. Imran Khan lost his moment of oppurtunity. Dr. Qadri has taken the lead role. He will be credited with nay changes that may come about because of this sit in.

  34. Changes are only possible through channeled and structured means. It shall be a folly of the PTI to undertake the demonstration of long march as it is in the failing stage. So, far four days and the government has not shaken and has not shown any signs of listening. My advice to PTI would be to stay away from the demonstrations of no value. There is no success to score at the end of the Long March. It has entered in its failing stage. Dr. Qadri has misunderstood Pakistani people and thinks Tahrir Square can be duplicated. M advice to Dr. Qadri would be to read about Egyptian miseries of 32 years after Anwar Sadat was killed in 1980. Hosni mubarak was a tyrant sitting on the post for 32 years while President Zardari can not be mistaken for Hosni Mubarak.
    Dr. Qadri and PTI need vote bank and not the show of people dancing and marching. These are good for police, military and sports teams.
    Finally my advice to all others hoping for the Long Marches, Rallies and other dramas. Stay away and work on building the vote bank by thinking up of something novel, new, ideal, and what can be sold to millions of Pakistani Awams.
