Sindh Inspector General of Police Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari on Saturday directed all the police departments to make a joint comprehensive strategy to maintain law and order in the province on eve of new year. He also directed the police to exchange information with other law enforcement and intelligence agencies in this regard, said an official statement here. The IGP ordered to enhance police patrolling and snap checking especially at and around public places and other important private and public properties. He ordered the police to ensure sanctity of “chadar aur char dewari” and respect to law abiding citizen during their activities to maintain law and order in the province.
