The US army four-star general tendered his resignation over his late age love affair with one journalist and we are all seeing it on TV and reading it in the newspapers. I know it is wrong to get involved in such a scandal in the position he was but what is commendable is to watch him quit when it came to limelight. It is not important how this ‘secret’ got leaked out. It is also not so condemnable to have fallen in love. Paula is a pretty looking female and I am sure love must have sparked at both ends. However and whatever, it did happen. But the four-star general, the supposed hero of Iraq war, the commander of US forces in Afghanistan, quietly quit to save his country and his government from embarrassment. I guess lots of people from our homeland need to learn some lesson. But the question is: will they?
