Punjab Inspector (IG) General Haji Habibur Rehman on Thursday issued directives to tighten the security of the province following the suicide attack in Karachi, killing three Rangers personnel and injuring 21 others.
Meanwhile, orders have also been issued to improve the security plan for sensitive areas of the province during the month of Muharram.
According to PunjabIG, 19 districts have been declared sensitive.
He has also asked to get surety bonds from residents of those areas through which the procession will be taken out during Muharram.
