Disgruntled former president of People’s Students Federation (PSF) Chitral wing, Bibi Jan has alleged that she was removed from the presidency only for advocating the rights to leadership of women in the provincial and national assemblies.
While talking to media persons here, she said that she was fired with her team on the allegation leveled by Falak Naz. She also said that she had been advocating the rights of Chitral women, who were still deprived despite frequent promises made by the party’s provincial leadership.
She said that she demanded of president of women wing of the party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Asma Jahangir to provide a bus for the Chitral girls college and the president showed willingness to provide the bus along with the grant of Rs10 million for the welfare of women in Chitral but she never fulfilled the promise. She further said that after the frequent assurances of the PPP Chitral and provincial leadership, no promise was fulfilled.
Bibi Jan threatened to stage a protest in front of the President House if her demands were not fulfilled, saying Falak Naz, president of women wing of PPP Chitral, announced her removal along with her team through some local media. She said that Falak Naz alleged her for breaching the party’s code of conduct and deviating from the party’s rules.
Bibi Jan denied all the baseless allegations leveled on her, terming it a conspiracy being hatched against the rights of women in Chitral.
