Three injured in blast, bomb defused in Peshawar

Three Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were injured in a remote-controlled bomb blast here on Tuesday. The police defused another bomb planted by road side.
According to details, unknown miscreants had planted remote controlled bomb in an under construction house located at Frontier Road in Badhber area of Peshawar which exploded with a big bang.
As a result of blast three FC men deployed nearby the scene sustained wounds.
The injured FC men were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) for treatment and according to hospital sources their condition was stable.
The police and other law enforcement agencies personnel cordoned off the area and started investigation.
Some sources claimed that the explosive material was stored in a room of under construction house which exploded.
Meanwhile, the police during routine patrol in Bara Sheikhan area of Peshawar found a bomb planted by roadside. The bomb disposal squad (BDS) was called in who defused the bomb.
