Interior Minister warns action against forced collection of animal hides

Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Sunday warned that the government would act against groups found involved in collecting animal hides by force.
Talking to newsmen here, Rehman Malik said that there was complete ban on banned outfits from collecting skins of sacrificial animals.
All law enforcement agencies will remain on high alert during the Eid holidays, he said.
The interior minister said strict security measures were being made on this occasion of annual feast.
To a question, he said that transporters should use Shahra-e-Karakoram for Gilgit Baltistan.
The people of Gilgit Baltistan, he said, have played an important role to cub sectarian violence.
