Federal Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh discussed various matters of science and technology division in a meeting with Federal Minister for Science and Technology Mir Changez Khan Jamali on Wednesday.
Finance Minister discussed in details about the issues faced by ministry of science and technology. He assured Science and Technology Minister that finance division would do every effort to resolve those issues. Both ministers also discussed progress on the construction work of the building of ministry of science and technology, situated in the federal capital.
On the request of the Science and Technology minister, the Finance Minister agreed to provide a supplementary grant to Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR), a subordinate organization of ministry of science and technology.
Both the ministers also deliberated to review nine PSDP projects related to S&T ministry. Besides holding discussion related to science and technology division, both ministers exchanged their views on providing relief to the flood affected people on their bank loans. In the same way, Balochistan issue was also discussed in the meeting.
