All politicians in Pakistan ought to be ashamed of themselves for the language and phrases they use, particularly for each others. Some go far below the belt by calling others as ‘Jews’ agents’ and try to show their innocence by not being able to find an appropriate word for the word ‘divorcee’. And the joke is that of all the people Maulana Fazal-ur Rehman does so when maulanas are expected to be experts in nikahs and tallaqs. ‘Tsunami’ is yet another word which I detest. Tsunami is destructive and tyrant and obviously very disastrous natural catastrophe of Allah.
‘Bowling out two wickets in one ball’ is a phrase having no sense as far as my cricket sense goes. I can go on writing hundreds of these phrases but all are indecent and street words used by illiterates and not-so-educated people. Can we bring some decency in our democracy? Can we use some decent phrases? I understand that none of these so-called leaders have anything solid to say; hence they have to resort to these indecent methods. But let me advise them that mud-slinging game must be stopped. Have we ever heard any Indian politician using this method?
