Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari on Monday chaired a high level meeting regarding the law and order situation in the provincial capital, a statement by the police department said.
It said that performance of the police force was reviewed and necessary instructions were also issued in the meeting.
The statement said it was directed that a detailed report be presented regarding the incident at Razzaqabad.
“Recommendations be forwarded separately for bringing about improvements in the affairs of all the training centers,” it was further instructed.
The IGP stressed that police force be given detailed briefing on all aspects before deployment and after any assignment the process of debriefing should also be made essential. The meeting stressed further that the security of important installations, buildings and public places should be made effective so as to ensure safety of the lives and property of the people.
