The film and the protests

There is no doubt that the slanderous movie made by an American is condemnatory. Mobs in streets and roads are chanting slogans while on social media every group and person is criticizing the film team and US government. The anger and pain shown by Muslims round the globe is not unusual but what is the real remedy to sort out evil acts peacefully is still a question mark? Why the civilized world still could not learn the lesson of religious harmony and mutual respect?
I want to express my feelings here; it was shocking and very painful to watch video clips in which the characters are mocking Islam and our Prophet. The whole content of the movie is nothing else but amalgamation of fake interpretation of acts of the Prophet.
The point we are ignoring here is the way the Prophet used to react on such actions. There are extremists in all religions. It is well known that most of the non-Muslims also raised objection on this movie.
I agree that there is a need to hold the perpetrators of such responsible but the protests could be peaceful. I am not fully convinced with the official stand of the US government that it is freedom of expression and the government is not able to block that movie. I think considering the situation and sentiments of the Muslim world some serious steps could be taken by the US administration.
What is freedom of expression and what are its boundaries is a different debate but today it has proven that the misuse of freedom of expression will ultimately lead the civilized world to chaos. It is the need of the hour that all the countries of globe come forward to carve a peaceful resolution. This is the only way to bring this world towards peace and harmony.
