Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani visited the Gayari sector on the third day of the Eid.
According to sources in the Pakistan Army, General Kayani visited the Gayari sector and reviewed the ongoing search operation to recover the bodies of the martyred soldiers.
General Kayani met the soldiers busy in the operation and praised their dedication and devotion.
It may be recalled that in April around 139 army officers and jawans were martyred when their base was buried under huge snow.
