The nation is going to have a consensus Chief Election Commissioner soon, if consensus is taken to mean agreement between the prime minister and the leader of opposition in the National Assembly. Only time would tell how this consensus was reached between the two major parties in the parliament. Let’s hope this agreement augurs well for the country, including the voters.
I would advise the President of Pakistan to find a consensus Chairman NAB also. The present incumbent has disappointed every body, including his well-wishers.
