I am surprised at the intellectuals and the human right organisations of Pakistan who have expressed the opinion that Gilani’s removal is counterproductive to democracy. It seems that these individuals and organisations actually represent PPP and their mistaken concept of democracy is corruption, lawlessness, dynastic politics and running a one man show. They forget that democracy is the name of accountability and not lawlessness. They forget that in a parliamentary democracy it is the PM and not the president who runs the government. They forget that the courts interpret the constitution. With intellectuals in Pakistan being so gormless, even Raja Rental stands out tall.
