Through your esteemed newspaper I want to draw the attention of the KESC towards the “kunda system” in Saturday night matches which is very common in Karachi. They use at least 15-20 500-watt bulb rods for lighting a little area of pitch. Moreover, they don’t use their own electricity for this purpose. They use “kunda” from the electricity polls and steal electricity. That becomes a burden on the local residents of the area in the form of high electricity bills. I think this is also a reason for loadshedding. Concerned authorities should formulate a policy about this matter.
