Sources said on Monday that a man was killed and several others injured when a bomb went off outside a private bank in the Panjgaur district of Balochistan.
The sources said that the blast left several people injured. These people were taken to a nearby hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
No organization has claimed responsibility for the blast, police said.
Earlier on Monday morning, a man was killed and two others were injured in two separate incidents of firing in the troubled capital of Balochistan.
Balochistan has been witnessing insurgency by nationalists, demanding more provincial autonomy while some others are fighting for freedom.
The militants kill Punjabi and Pashtoon settlers in Baloch populated areas of the South Western province.
Monday’s incidents took place when Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was here to seek a resolution of the Balochistan issue.
