Capital police arrest fake pir

Bhara Kahu police Islamabad on Monday arrested a fake pir who used to mint money from the people, especially depriving women of their gold ornaments, on the pretext of treating them in case of any disease solving their problems on immediate basis.
A policeman said that family members of two girls called Rescue 15 and described that a person had deprived their daughters of gold ornaments on the pretext of treating them.
Following this complaint, Bhara Kahu police, led by SHO Bhara Kahu, conducted a raid at the described place and nabbed the fake pir who was busy in cheating the simpletons. He was identified as Ali Ahmed s/o Rehmat Khan, a resident of Mohallah Qazian, Nai Abadi Bhara Kahu.
He used to call visiting persons to a separate room and deprive them of their valuables on the basis of various false pretences. The police raiding team also recovered valuables and cash from him while further investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, Islamabad police arrested eight outlaws and three proclaimed offenders besides recovering a total of 21 wine bottles, weapons and looted items from their possession.
The nabbed outlaws have been identified as Akmal, Pervez Masih, Aloon Masih, Yasir Mehmud, Babar Hussain, Bilal, Abdul Ghaffar, Nosher Khan.
