Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Information Secretary Shafqat Mehmood said on Monday that the PTI’s organisational structures in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have been dissolved and replaced by steering committees at the provincial level for the membership campaign and party elections.
On the other hand, organisational structures in Sindh and Balochistan have been kept intact.
In a statement issued from party’s Central Media Cell in Lahore, he said the PTI has appointed conveners at the provincial, regional and district levels in Punjab and KP in place of the previous organisational structures.
The conveners would not be able to take part in the party elections to ensure free and fair elections in the party, he added.
