The prime minister is reported to have said that loadshedding can be overcome by printing money. If printing money could solve problems, every country in the world would be doing it. Evidently the PM does not know that one of the reasons for rampant inflation in Pakistan is also printing of notes amounting to billions every year.
I wonder why Mr Gilani didn’t suggest that Pakistan’s internal and external debts could be paid off by printing money.
