Reference against Sharif brothers sent to NAB: Rehman Malik

Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Tuesday said that reference against Sharif brothers has been sent to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and expressed concern over the law and order situation in Punjab.
Speaking to media here, Rehman Malik said that report has been sought regarding law and order situation in Punjab, adding that Sharif brothers were not allowing officials to work in government departments rather forcing them to participate in the public rallies.
He said Sharif brothers should not take the Punjab government employees to their political public gatherings and let them free to perform their official duties.
Malik said the reference against Sharif brothers has been sent to NAB, adding that the matter would be brought in the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
Malik said efforts were underway to restore peace in Lyari while targeted operation would be continued to maintain law and order in the area. Malik said on Monday night four target killers were arrested; saying that restoration of peace in Lyari was indispensable.
He said that FC and Rangers have been directed to help police in restoring peace in Lyari.

  1. Let PPP expose the corruption of Nawaz sharif and cohorts and PML (N) expose the corruption of Mr. Zardari & associates. Pakistan will benefit a lot if the Apex court disqualifies all the corrupt of both parties from politics for life time. Pakistan has now come to the brink, either these corrupt politicians will survive and thrive or Pakistan.
