Karachi University is one of the major universities in Pakistan which is recognised internationally. It is one of those institutes in Pakistan which gives job-oriented education. But there are some things which bring disgrace to the name of Karachi University.
The biggest obstacle in prosperity and respect of KU is the student political parties. Although there is no harm in carrying a political party in an institution within limits but in KU they almost scare other people to death by all the clashes in which weapons are also used.
Recently bribery cases have also been found in KU. The students of a certain department are caught red-handed selling drugs (heroine) and drinks which are not acceptable in our society, let alone in a university. These are the major reasons which add to the disgrace of this university and which lessens its reputation in the minds of students and they are forced to choose some other institution.
The cleanliness and tidiness of KU is also an important problem. Some of its areas are worth seeing because they are a real beauty but most of the areas comprising the university are so damaged and need repairing immediately.
Since this university is representing Karachi, the biggest city of Pakistan, it should be kept in mind that nothing should dishonour its value at any cost. The government is required to keep an eye on it and put a stop to all of it because it is the place which makes up the future of our nation; the youth.
