Crack appears in the ever-high chicken price

The prices of vegetables and fruits remained stable in Sunday bazaars while the prices of chicken decreased. The prices of chicken have been increasing over the last one month but there was a little relief this week, as price came down by Rs 5 per kg and chicken meat was available for Rs 200 per kg. Over all the prices of majority of fruits remained stable with only a few showed upward trends and some decreased. The price of ginger reduced by Rs 5 per kg and it was sold for Rs 70 per kg. The prices of green chillies decreased Rs 10 per kg and it was available for Rs 50 per kg. The price of tomatoes also decreased Rs 7 per kg and it was sold for Rs 25 per kg.
The price of cucumber also reduced Rs 10 per kg and it was sold for Rs 35 per kg. The prices of onions, potatoes and garlic remained stable. Potatoes were sold for Rs 15 per kg, onions for Rs 35 per kg, garlic for Rs 90 per kg and spinach for Rs 14 per kg. The prices of fruits also remained stable and apples were available for Rs 160 per kg, bananas for Rs 55 per dozen and pomegranate for Rs 195 per kg. The prices of guava decreased Rs 15 per kg and it was sold for Rs 40 per kg.
