Government MAO College, Lahore arranged a seminar on awareness about dengue fever which was attended by a large number of students. Saeed ur Rehman, senior Entomologist, office of EDO Health, Lahore, was the key-note speaker, who delivered a comprehensive lecture covering all aspects of dengue fever and its vector. Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Health, Khawaja Salman Rafiq, was the guest of honour, who highlighted efforts of the Punjab government for campaigning against dengue and the havoc accompanying it. In the end, Prof Dr Farhan Ebadat Yar Khan, Principal Govt. M.A.O College, Lahore addressed the audience. He appreciated the steps taken by the Punjab Government and thanked the guest speakers.
