LAHORE – 24-years old British girl and Pakistan born British national husband have been kidnapped for ransom from Main Boulevard Gulberg in the police precincts of the Gulberg here on Saturday night. According to the Police, abductors have demanded Rs 6 million for their release.
According to the details, the abducted British citizen namely Jaima Lewis William and her husband identified as Syed Awais went for shopping. Sources said that Jaima had been living in Lahore for last two years. Awais’s father told police that the couple went for shopping but did not return. He said that he had started worrying and in the meanwhile he received anonymous call demanding a ransom of Rs 6 million. Sources said the couple had been seen at 8:15 pm on the Main Boulevard, whereas Awais’s father has submitted an application against unknown people, regarding the kidnapping of their son and daughter in law.
