Munter brings new US recommendations for NATO supply lines’ restoration

United States Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter has reached Islamabad after a three-week long tour of the US in a bid to restore the NATO supply line. The ambassador brought new US recommendations to restore NATO supply route through Pakistan. The US ambassador called on several senior American officials during the visit. Before leaving Pakistan, Munter also met members of the parliamentary committee set up to decide on the restoration of the NATO supply line. During the visit, he placed Islamabad’s reservations before American authorities, who drafted new recommendations for Pakistan to restore the NATO supply line. After arriving here, Munter sent applications to Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar and the foreign affairs secretary for a meeting. He will present the US recommendations to the Pakistani officials.
