The United States has facilitated the Taliban in opening their office in Qatar to initiate talks with them. The USA and the allied forces must have realised now that they can’t defeat afghan Taliban and the talks are the only way out to have safe exit from Afghanistan. Ironically, the USA still pressurises Pakistan not to go for the talks with the Taliban. Pakistan’s security forces are not doing any sort of talks with the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan.
One is amazed at how America justifies its actions as on one side it is having talks with the Afghan Taliban but on the hand keeps on asking Pakistan to do more.
America has to accept its part of failure instead of throwing it on others’ shoulders. It must realise that till the time America is not going to pull out its forces, peace is not going to establish in the region.
