The gas supply was restored to the industries of Punjab on Monday morning, after a disruption hiatus of one month.
The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) issued a notification of two-day supply in a week.
According to the notification, Punjab industries have been divided in four zones. In the first phase, industries of Lahore and Sahiwal have been restored gas supply at 6AM this morning. Afterwards, Faisalabad and Sargodha zones will receive gas for two days.
Third zone incorporates Sheikhupura and suburbs of Lahore; while the industries of Islamabad, Gujranwala, Multan and Bahawalpur have been placed in fourth zone.
