Lahore to get 100 new buses next month

LTC Chairman Khawaja Hassan has said that fundamental reforms are being introduced in the urban transport sector for provision of efficient and affordable facilities to the general public. While presiding over a meeting Board of Directors at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Tuesday, he said the LTC would provide 575 buses of international standard, adding that 100 vehicles would be available on the roads of Lahore in the last week of February. He said promotion of CNG in public transport was an important feature of LTC, adding that the federal government should take immediate measures for provision of CNG to public transport on a priority basis.
