Charlie Sheen has assured TV critics he is getting his career back on track and said that last year’s bizarre antics were merely a “crazy” episode. The 46-year-old actor said that he has put last year’s troubles behind him. “I’m not crazy any more. That was an episode,” News.com.au quoted the actor as telling People Magazine.
“Everything is a lot more mellow and focused and much more rooted in reality,” he said. Sheen was fired from his hit CBS comedy show last March for his hard-partying ways and verbal attacks on the show’s creator Chuck Lorre, is now seeking to shift publicity from his personal life to the forthcoming FX series ‘Anger Management’, which he both produces and stars in.
“It’s nice to be in a situation where the people I’m working with are excited about my input. That wasn’t the case for a long time,” he added.
