Senior leader of PML-N and Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar has said that the government wants to impede memo case proceedings.
Nisar said that PML-N’s senior lawyers were being given threats since the filing of memo case in the Supreme Court. He also objected to the Senate sending its session without discussion on the memo issue.
He said that all who have problems must know that the PML-N used its constitutional right to move the SC on the memo issue. He maintained that the government however wants to block the proceedings one way or the other.
Nisar added that Imran Khan should have moved the SC over the assets issue instead of leveling allegations against the PML-N leadership. He said that he would hold a news conference soon over the assets issue and reveals all his assets along with proofs and he has accepted Imran’s challenge.
He also said that the PTI would emerge as a refuge for Pervez Musharraf.
