There is a lot of hullabaloo surrounding Iran nukes which may or may not exist. A lot of officials from the US are issuing declaratory statements about what could happen if Iran continues to develop arms of destruction. These statements should not be lightly as we all know what happened to Iraq on a similar (and utterly fabricated) pretext.
It is true that in the international comity, you only have to follow the rules if you don’t have power. The US was answerable to nobody after it did what it did to Iraq. Now the motions are being gone through again. While proliferation of nuclear arms is a real issue and it should be taken seriously, why is the US raising the roof about Iran’s alleged nukes while it continues to de facto fund Israel’s nuclear programme. Hypocirsy, thy name is US.
