Police arrested two alleged target killers from separate parts of Karachi on Monday.
Maqbool Ahmed alias Maqboola was arrested with weapons and a snatched motorcycle during a raid near Nargis Cinema in Quaidabad.
Addressing a press conference at the Superintendent of Police (SP) office near Sohrab Goth, Gadap SP Malik Altaf and Shah Latif Town Station House Officer Amanullah Marwat said the detainee was wanted by the police for several crimes, including 12 incidents of targeted killing.
The accused, who has already served a sentence, was nominated in various cases at the Shah Latif Town, Malir City and Khokhrapar police stations, they added.
Separately, police claimed to have arrested a suspected target killer for his involvement in at least 10 murders.
Sources said Hassan Dilawar, who is said to be associated with a political party, was arrested with a Kalashnikov, a pistol and other firearms from Landhi-89.
