A trial court hearing the assassination case of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto rejected the acquittal pleas of police officials, a private TV channel reported on Saturday. Police officials former Rawalpindi city police officer (CPO) Saud Aziz and former SP Khurram Shahzad had filed acquittal pleas earlier in this case.
The court said in its order that there were solid evidences against these police officers, on the basis of which, they could not be released.
