Special Branch officials robbed of motorcycle

Armed robbers looted an official motorcycle from two Special Branch officials besides looting valuables worth millions of rupees from two houses located in two different areas of Lahore on Tuesday. Two Special Branch staff Zeeshan Haider and Suhail Akhtar were commuting on their official motorcycle (registration number LEG-1213).
When the two reached the Mall Road underpass, two robbers equipped with sophisticated weapons approached them from behind. The robbers snatched the official motorcycle and escaped from the scene. Race Course Police registered a case and started a probe into the matter.
In South Cantonment Police Area, armed robbers looted valuables worth Rs 2.2 millions from the house of Muhammad Akhtar, resident of 273-B, Street 6, Cavalry Ground. Armed robbers forced entry into the house of Muhammad Akhtar and escaped after looting valuables including gold ornaments of more than 45 tolay, Rs 50,000 and Dirham 10,000 in cash from the house. South Cantonment police registered the case. Similarly robbers climbed into the house of Col (r) Khalid Javed, resident of 234-D, Askari 10. Robbers escaped safely after looting the valuables, including jewelry of about 30 tolay, prize bonds worth Rs 10,000, Dirham 2,000 and Rs 150,000 in cash. Chowki Guldasht Town Police registered a case and started investigations.

  1. Robbing motorcycles and money is now become a trend in Pakistan and every body is robbing different houses, banks and shops to get more richer. That is not good for the Pakistan.
