Why we must elect Imran

212

He is the symbol of hope for all Pakistanis. He is what unites us all. He has always stood for unity, for justice, and for freedom. His name is Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and he is dead. And what we are left with are confused, gullible, tragic jokes like Imran Khan.
Imran Khan is passionate, ambitious, controversial, ill-advised, 50-something, and losing his hair – one chromosome away from becoming actress Meera. Khan began his political career in Pakistan’s cricket team. When he was young, he was notorious for frequenting London’s bars and romancing rich debutantes. But in the mid-1990s he became religious. The last party he ever went to was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
The party’s top leaders include Shireen Mazari, two retired military officers, and a Jamaat-e-Islami dissident. Meetings of the party can easily be confused for a Tim Burton movie, a news channel talk show, or a waiting room for a dentist who fixes false teeth. The last one is most likely because the party’s top leadership also includes a dentist.
The party’s second most famous leader is Shireen Mazari, known for being Pakistan’s top “geo-strategist”. Critics believe she is called that because her political strategy is highly dependent on appearances on a particular private TV channel. Mazari began her training in strategy and conflict in Wrestlemania 5 and was later elected a top leader in PTI. She was elected unopposed and Imran Khan was the only voter. Over the years, she has however matured into a very wise old man.
The least known of PTI leaders, Ejaz Chaudhry, has the honour of being the only politician in the party’s leadership. He had been a member of Jamaat-e-Islami for three decades. In return for his services, JI’s former chief Qazi Hussain Ahmed appointed him the vice president of Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
Imran Khan believes he will be the next president of Pakistan. One reason that is not possible is because he does not come from a feudal background. The second, more important one, is that he is foolish. But that does not mean we should not vote for him. We must vote for Imran Khan, because if he wins:
PML(N) will lose: The PML(N) and Imran Khan are similar in many ways – they both have voters in urban Punjab that is also the primary audience of news channels, they are both represented by a wild animal that has poor organisational skills and no clue about economy or terrorism, and they are both not going to win the next elections.
Pakistanis will realise that voting for the progressive politicians was not such a bad idea: President Asif Zardari is a living proof of the fact that after years and years of struggle and perseverance, if you learn to make a compromise with the establishment, you can become the president. But Imran Khan is a living proof that after years and years of struggle and perseverance, if you learn to make a compromise with the establishment, you can still not become the president. The ANP has lost hundreds of its workers in the battle against terrorist groups. Tehreek-e-Insaaf will not suffer the same fate, because it does not have hundreds of workers. All nine of its supporters in KP might come under threat.
Terrorism will end: Because the Taliban will finally achieve their goal of being in power in Pakistan. That will end an era of brutal terrorist attacks on Pakistani civilians and troops. Pakistan has been blamed of supporting a number of networks that have caused a lot of misery. Some analysts believe they include Pakistan’s four cellular phone networks.
He will stop appearing on TV: For once, the people of Pakistan will be able to listen to real political experts talking about real issues. An added advantage will be that the word ‘revolution’ will finally be erased from public discourse, ending an era of brutal mental torture of sane Pakistanis. President Zardari was severely tortured during his years in jail and at one point his tongue was slashed. Psychiatrists believe that phenomenon is painful, but not as painful as listening to Imran Khan on TV.
Peace in the Middle East: One of the most wonderful things that could happen if Imran Khan is elected is that Pakistan would help negotiate a settlement in the Middle East and permanently end the hostility between Muslims and Jews. Imran Khan will explain to Muslims how important it is to make peace with Jews, because the last time he fought with a Jew, he lost half his property to his ex-wife.

  1. Harris sb, i was actually enjoying your critique, but when u picked up the 'taliban sympathizer' propaganda line, it summed up for me how much you had cared to research, and how much you had let out your own biases. Plus to think that his assertions of there primarily being a political solution to the menace of terrorism, is somehow an echo of the 'deep state' is the most ridiculous thing ever. He vehemently opposed the army operations in the tribal areas in musharrafs heydays. who had the command of army, isi, political parties and civil society then?
while imran khan is far far from perfect, hes offering people a platform to join and formulate a political force that challenges the status quo. real change in this country is going to come from a peoples movement. that chose to untie under someone who actually cares about the country and does not have exit plans all set up for him.

  2. Wow. Who publishes such a load of nonsense on Pakistan Today? I'm surprised this kid, who I'm judging is more childish than he looks in his photo, thinks this way. His knowledge I can fit inside a matchbox, and it would still leave me enough space to play cricket inside.

  3. Jokes about State of Pakistan and Pakistani politics are far from funny.. Imran is the only symbol o hope if any in pakistan.. and u hav been very insensitive.. Crap bin Munawer..

  4. Mr Munawar,

Reading your article was a complete waste of time. However, I thought I shall waste even more time by writing about your rubbish attempt to join endless self-styled critics of Pakistani Politics and Imran Khan.

Your jibe at IK’s receding hairline goes to show your calibre to judge people. IK might be loosing his hair, however, you opted to have this cheesy, seen in your picture, haircut.

Please get a life and stop writing such useless articles.

  5. Worst article i read since a long long time.. Dont understand

How pak today published this crap…imran is the last hope for this

    Country

  6. Imran khan is the true leader and ppl like munwar
Cant change imrans image With these kind of funny
    Articles .. Really a shame

  7. It’s funny to watch how many different names and styles of writing the same comment this obviously jilted Imran Khan fan has bothered to come with. Nice one Harris!

  8. I am surprised with great disappointment at the edotorial board of Pakistan Today.
Such bogus satirical attempt published by a distinguished newspaper inadvertently damages its credibility.

  9. Dear Mr. Harris,

I have been living outside my own country for many years, because this country has been hijacked by people like Imran Khan and the masses like the commentators on this post of yours. I may disagree with you regarding your views about the great man who built Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore Pakistan, but I hate to admit you are spot on about the person who founded tehrik-e-insaf and his political acumen (or the lack of it) .

I am surprised that the dearth of any real life heroes and constant brainwashing over time with constructed mythologies of self created heroes, the nation on the whole is willing to accept Imran Khan as a viable alternative to even sheikh rasheed. People are willing to buy his argument that taliban are peace-seeking individuals who are only against the imperial powers and otherwise harboring brotherly feelings towards pakistani brethern.

I thought that your piece was a funny one, but truth be told that these comments are far more entertaining than your original post.

I wish you and the commentators all the best at entertaining the world.

    Best

    Aslam

    • i hope you come back to pakistan; face the very ground realities which every pakistani has to bear with and then, if appropriate, attempt to make a statement.

      • Dear Jazil,

That is what youth is all about, talking more thinking less. Wisdom usually comes with age or experience and interestingly you display neither. That is the reason I envy you and your views because in stupidity lies the courage to take on the world and actually change it for better or worse. This nation is depending on youth like yourself to initiate a change. For old folks like myself, we have planes to catch and bills to pay and a family to feed.

But please make no mistake that your courage does not make you more of a Pakistani as compared to anyone else who claims to be one or bears a Pakistani Passport. We all have a stake in this country and we all contribute to it in our own way.

    • Pardesi sahab, perhaps you shouldn't meddle in our affairs since you have left us alone anyway. We love Imran Khan and will do our very best to help him succeed. I will give you a call when he wins. Till then you enjoy your naps in pardes.

      • My dear Le Mystique.

It is your right to love Imran Khan and please go ahead in loving him wherever and however you feel like. You can do it in the park, you can do it in the cafe or you can do it in the comfort of your own home, I simply have no qualms about it.

And I am certainly not meddling in your affairs. Perchance you believe that all Pakistani affairs are your affairs and your affairs alone, then I can only assume that your sense of "yours" is quite misplaced. Even in case Imran Khan wins, he still has to depend on what we Perdesis send back to Pakistan as remittance. So my dear it is better to include us because we send 'you' precious foreign exchange so that you can buy your ipods and laptops and access internet with such fancy alteregos like "Le Mystique".

I am pretty sure Imran Khan and you, must have thought over this question of foreign remittance and so far I have been unable to see anything by his party which EXCLUDES us from being Pakistani Affairs as our Affairs.

Please grow up. Pakistan needs you to.

  10. By far the most ridiculous and baseless article and well, as funny as the jokes made by our beloved politicians! This does not seem like an article but in fact a transcript of another prime time talk show between politicians in which all there is are comments like 'hair fall', 'jews', 'talibanisation of Pakistan' etc.
PT you've got to do better than this because you are!
P.S It is i guess okay to judge people/politicians by their receding hair line, but in that context may we also judge looking at your 'chowkidar' type picture?
    Get a life!

    • For sure … and your newspaper will be tried in court of shria for blashpheming against Imran Khan in the country ruled by Caliph Imran Khan!

  11. imran khan might not be worth a second thought … but is this a real article at all …. im sure the writer thinks he has a sense of humour…. but i honestly doubt he has a brain to keep it…. this is not only rubbish but its also all over the place… scattered shallow jokes thats all there is to this piece … and get ur self a make over please to atleast look convincingly reasonable yourself !!! ive been in journalism for years and ive never come across this kind of a simple minded effort.. sorry Pakistantoday … no offense

  12. EXCELLENT one, Harris! Not everyone has the insight that you have to expose characters like IK. Looking forward to more articles from you.

  13. Mr Harris is really a good writer. He knows what he is writing and what he is sharing – through his writings – with his readers… We must admit that he writes his articles in a lighter way, definitely not in a serious style…
I think readers like me cannot get bored after reading his comment… I am just waiting – or may be expecting – for a response (on comments) by the author as well…
    Muhsen

  14. Good work Mr. Bin Munawar, keep it up.

You have a very unique writing style in a country where generally individual opinion is frowned upon and conformity is highly desired.

  15. what a terrible article. This is elementary thinking and writing. I can not believe that this was published.

  16. Although I don't agree with the critic's political opinion, I have to say that this is a well written piece. It is hilarious. Harris has razor sharp wit, and I love reading through his work. Satire is a wonderful thing, and this guy has got it!

  17. The writer of this insane piece of truthful blasphemy shall be condemned to Talibani Hell under the rule of Great Imran Khan (The first caliph of Islamic non-Democratic Pakistani renaissance)

  18. I hope that Pakistanis realize that their only hope are they themselves. I hope they stop looking for a ‘promised leader’ who is perhaps never arriving! Hey, if they can ‘make’ and ‘run’ a capital like Islamabad , they can do other things as well, no?

  19. This so called humour, satire is in really bad taste. One cannot help but wonder at the editorial policy of Pakistan today, that published such a retarded article.

  20. A guy once wanted to be famous and all he did was shit in a mosque, and that is precisely what you have done, 99% of the people wouldn't have read it if it were not about Imran khan and man what a disappointment it was. I m not saying because you were criticizing it is because you were being stupid with your approach, if you had criticized Asif Zardaree same way as Imran I would still be saying the same thing. Shame on pakistantodays's editorial board to let it publish

  21. Son, your style reminds me of one of the great writers from my youth: Art Buchwald!

Its probably the first time that I have come across someone to have a sense of humor and satire in any mainstream Pakistani newspaper dealing with our local issues.

    Well Done.

  22. Agreed about the hope aspect of your comment.

But when it comes to “making”, where are those now who wrote on asoka stones, those who built the pyramids, wall of china, or even taj mahal ? So making islamabad and the bombs does not guarantee us anything except perhaps a foot note in history 🙂

  23. The writer is absolutely correct. We should re-elect either Zardari or Nawaz Sharif. Perhaps even Altaf Hussain (or anyone with a good head of hair). These are the people we can be proud of. These are the beacons of hope. It is unfortunate how someone like Imran Khan is holding Pakistan back. Although not yet proven, I am sure Imran Khan must be guilty of some major financial scam involving billions in corruption and bribery. We can only really trust honest people like Zardari, Nawaz, Rehman Malik, Gilani and the like. I am sure that given long enough, they will put Pakistan on the right track. We all know thats what they have been trying to do so far.

  24. i'm guessing the few people who complimented this article must be the authors family members!
what an immature, badly written, ignorant and completely random article. jumping from topic to topic with nothing cohesive holding it together! by all means, criticize whoever you want but atleast make the basis of that criticism noteworthy……random personal opinions not backed by facts just make you sound ignorant ans stupid.
my sincere advice to the editor at pakistan today would be to please not publish such trash if you want to be taken seriously as a publication. if you print every teeny boppers rant people are going to lose respect for this paper.

    • You, it would appear, belong to that teeming, vast majority of Pakistanis who think 'irony' is what their wives do to their office clothes every morning 😛

  25. Simply “Well done”
You did once again superb job Wise bin Munawer. But more fantastic job is done by the commentors here which ultimately proves that YOU are on the spot 🙂 Keep the spirit up Man …Go Harris ….

  26. Good work Harris….your humour has cut down Imran Khan to his size…that is the job of humour.

  27. Mr.Munawar. I'll forgive the crap writing in your column if you will please change your photo. can't you see your head is as imbalanced as your thoughts. get a haircut!

  28. A poorly written article, weak and feeble arguments, without going into detail, take you stupid picture off this article, spend some more time in the back office learning the art of journalism and forming some logical opinions. Otherwise I recommend going back to school or a decent university. k from london.

    • @ k from London
array mian, from london likhnay ki kya tuk thee… wahaan jaa ker shaudhay hee rahay hau aap.

  29. Loved the article Harris…spot on….finally someone says what I’ve been screaming out loud since ages…

YES PEOPLE, he built Shaukat Khanum…great work on that..no arguments..but that does not mean he qualifies for what we may call a ‘leader’. number one for him to win he needs a party. number 2 he needs to get over himself (and here by he I mean Imran Khan)..appearing on Tensports or ESPN..i agree, but sitting on major private channels talking about politics…not his domain!

Harris..I know I don’t need to say this but ignore the above comments…if people are not ready to hear the truth..let them be blissfully ignorant..this is one of your best pieces!

  30. @all! the interesting thing about this article is the number of comments. almost 80 percent of the comments are defending IK. more interestingly, if u ppl pick the others articles related to IK, the number of comments and ration of IK supporters is almost same. this does not show his confirmation as PM or president. but it clearly shows the how succesfully IK delivered his message to educated class of pakistan.
@haris! dear if u really want to do some objective criticism then please write about the purpose of IK politics…. wealth? fame? Power? (which he got and can get more easily without leading PTI) whatever u think…………. my opnion is that he is only working for change in pakistan politics… IK zindabad

  31. The author of this trash needs to take his head out of the muck, people like him are what will take Pakistan to destruction asap, zardari must have given him 10% to come up with this garbage, zardari you should get a refund…

  32. Harris, if you were trying to be funny, you did a terrible job. Pakistan today should be publishing either serious articles or ones that are 'actually' funny. Please spare us from your wit-less comments – I would guess you are a 'sifarshi'!

  33. Imran Khan is so fantastically stupid that he makes great fodder for political satire. Nice article.

  34. such a waste… such a waste of precious online space of pakistan today…. but you will not gain publicity Mr. NObody…. this is an insult of the aspirations of youth of pakistan……. & Mr. NObody go get some sleep you don't live in real world…. come to PTI jalsa and wittnes all 9 supporters which you have mentioned……. hard luck

  35. Jub chot dil per lagay tu us kaa asar seedha dimagh per hota hai , jaisay kay imran khan kay supporters kay saath hoo raha hai

zaalimoooo Imran aaa raha hai …

  36. Harris bin Munawwar used to be one of the saner voices in our university… I just can't figure out why he took to writing things against our only ray of hope…. Harris!!! Articles like these might earn you some money and a bit of fame among handful of Imran-haters but you are damned in the eyes of millions who believe Imran can pull us out of the quagmire that we have got ourselves into… I won't say Imran's party will sweep polls in 2013 but certainly his party will turn out to be a major stakeholder in Pakistan's politics…

    • A lot of people actually supported hitler too, but that does not make them or hitler right…

      • @ImtiazSheikh… It would be sheer injustice on your part to equate Imran Khan with a mass murderer like Hitler… I wonder if he has ever killed a bird… He built Shaukat Khanum hospital, built NUML University in one of the most backward districts of the Punjab, Mianwali… and students of Mianwali can get a first class Bradforf degree despite sitting thousands of miles away… Imran does n't have assets outside Pakistan like the Sharifs and Zardari… People might say Imran does n't have an agenda… Well! You have seen plenty of agendas in the last more than 64 years of our history, and history bears bears testimony to the fact that none of the agendas of ever employed, thanks to the agenda-backed politicians who used their stay in power to fill their coffers… Rest, you have every right to agree or disagree… Peace….

        • " I wonder if he has ever killed a bird"

Yes I can assure you that he has killed many birds and actually he is pretty fond of and sports a hobby known as HUNTING, which involves killing of living creatures usually using weapons.

If philanthropy is the yardstick for elevation to a premier position of decision making in the country, then India should have chosen Mother Teresa and Pakistan should actually now choose Prince Karim Aga Khan for the prime office. Oh yes and Edhi could be in close race too.

          • I can only smile at your understanding of "I wonder if he has ever killed a bird"… and this point from now onwards is simply beyond discussion… 🙂

Edhi and Karim Agha Khan will remain philanthropists for the rest of their lives… But if it comes to mobilizing people and being put behind the bars on the basis of fake cases, then I am sorry to say they have n't done anything like that… I respect them but they dont have the charisma characteristic of Imran Khan by any stretch of imagination… Had they made an entry into into politics long ago (not to talk about Prince Karim who visits Pakistan once in a blue moon) things in Pakistan would have been totally different… Instead they left the work of politics to a bunch of thugs who would leave no stone unturned in making Pakistan their fiefdom… Imran first showed us that he could build a hospital like Shaukat Khanum and a University like NUML, and that he would keep doing this even when he is elected… And I am certain philanthropy will never deter him from edifying people of their rights and duties… I might sound emotional but this is the voice of thousands who have had enough at the hands of industrial and land thugs…. God bless Pakistan-amen

  37. Imran Khan is the best available option. He is no taleban sympathizer; you should have done some research to respect the research methodology course you were taught at NYU.

Oh btw, Haris, don't forget to give me a call when you GROW UP so that I stop sending you lollipops on your birthday 🙂

  38. Imran Khan is the only hope; Hope for what? Hope for being finally labelled officially as a terrorist state. IK has no vision, no policies; be it economic or social. And I don't understand the fact that he always states that the youth are with me, take a break guys, because he will land Pakistan in far more trouble than in which we actually are.
Can anyone ask him what is his economic, foreign, domestic, and educational & health policy and what answer do you get from him; other political parties would steal policies from him and implement it. Remember that a leader is never afraid of letting know everyone what he actually plans to do.
No one knows how much tax has he paid; but he keeps claiming that all taxes are being paid by him; though even MNS or AZ haven't paid.
He had married a Jew; no offence, but did he not find any Muslim girl in Pakistan or UK or any other part of the world? Do you actually know for sure that he doesn't have any property outside Pakistan?
He keeps claiming that you have to break the begging bowl; very good; but can he actually break hit, I guess not, the reason that he himself goes around the world asking for donations; if he's so reputable then he should be actually getting the donations directly into the Shaukat Khanam Cancer Research Hospital, his so-called reputation should do that for him.
We all say that all other politicians in Pakistan are corrupt, but did actually IK ever been a part of the government; just getting an offer isn't enough; did he actually do anything good, did he actually build a model village/town/city in any part of Pakistan. The answer is a big NO!
I do accept the fact that he has built a good college-cum-university and hospitals and there is absolutely no doubt that the outstanding work he has done with both of them, therefore I would suggest him to involve himself in the social work and carve a niche for himself.
OR he should either work in the next PML-N or a PPP government and prove his credentials by actually showcasing his leadership qualities; just by leading a cricket team isn't the only credentials required to lead a country.
IMRAN KHAN has to come clean and explain to the nation that what he actually wants to in detail and not explaining them vaguely. And I request him to stop scaring the nation that this would happen that would happen.

Mr. IK show us that you can actually win by at least winning a by-election forget the hysterical claim of sweeping the general elections.

    • Well said, only if the real world were ruled by charming religious rhetoric, Mr. Kahn would be hugely successful in politics too.

  39. Bloody hell. How deluded some people are. Can you let us know did you get paid to write this junk or simply to get free and cheap publicity.

If you cant beat them, insult them instead.

You been living in a dream world. I guess we just have to wait for Imam Mehdi forget trying or shell we appoint you as the PM. Seen as though you know what you are doing. Aparently.

    • I am not sure about the writer, but Mr. Khan surely lived in a dream world. Oh wait sorry not the dream world but he tasted the real taste of muslim heaven in real life when he used to be a playboy in London's night life. No wonder he is hell bent on reinventing himself as a dedicated muslim and realigning himself with neo-nazi taliban like Qadri element in the society.

Mr. Imran should stick to what he does best that is social work for public welfare. His entry into politics is as hilarious as Nawaz's Sharif's entry in the world of cricket which he aptly mocked in his latest book.

  40. Regardless ke this article is for or against Imran – it's just SOOOOO dumb – i cant believe it was published…..my 7 year old niece can do a better job

    • then please ask your 7 year old niece to do it….we're eagerly awaiting your niece's article….thank you…

  41. two words, "Qadyani Propagenda". what you guys have against Imran Khan?? and then if we were to say any thing then you'd start labelling us as "extremists!"

  42. The party’s top leaders include Shireen Mazari, two retired military officers, and a Jamaat-e-Islami dissident – that's still one jamat-e-islami dissident less than the PPP…

    • o… and about the same number of retired military officers… though i guess PTI has the most number of Shireen Mazari…

  43. bhai pehlay "Propaganda" kay spellings tu sahi kar loo, baad main kisi ko kuch kehna. (btw Qadyani nehin Qadiani hota hai 😛 )

Love for all, Hatred for none (not even for Imran Khan)

  44. Haris! look how much people are arose by your these words…I wish they stand against this corrupt system rather than your’s sane words…again Good luck for your upcoming “ventures’Keep voicing Man .

  45. I think crap bin munawar should see the comments and judge the popularity of the great khan…to even criticize the great khan one should have some standing in the journalist society..any tom, dick and harry is just trying to catch the publicity by criticizing khan…if this article wan not about khan you would have not received that much hits..

  46. Amazing! Honestly Mr. Harris, it is outstanding.
For those criticizing this article I would say : "It's a piece of literature, not a political sort of thing. So take it that way." This really is a great piece of Literature!

  47. Your critique is just as valid as is the spelling of your own name: HaRRis is not the equivalent of the Urdu HaRis.

  48. Harris, im a GP and have special interest in psychiatry. More than your "wannabe" looks, Im more worried about the "copy cat" syndrome that you are suffering from, clearly with a cheap following of Mr N F Paracha. Next time if you attempt to crack a few jokes, at least make them appear genuine and not just a stupid copy…….I can offer you a free consultation incase you want to "get a grip" of what the world is!

  49. your a clown – this must be the worst article ive ever read! instead of writing such a shitty long winded article, why didnt you just get to the point – that your a zardari supporter?

seriously pakistan has no hope with clowns like you – maybe you should run for president?

  50. article was very entertaining..loved it what was more entertaining were the comments..unbeliveable is the pakistani nation..so single minded and blind followers..baita even your noble leader can have a few flaws if some one points them out it doesnt make him/her a blasphemer..take a chill pill btw all of the above raised points true to the last point…whats missing is alternate..butt loveelyyy made my day!

  51. What a load of crap. IMRAN KHAN if given the chance by the electorate of Pakistan, will be our saviour and the one who can get us out of the clutche’s of our so called ally’s and friends. The one who will make Pakistan TRULY independent. Watch out our ally’s Imran khan is coming.

  52. Dude you simply suck…and the person who pointed me to this article sucks more.
Total waste of time….go get a life or wife, although both seem hard for you get since you have such a great talent at sucking….P.S screw you

  53. Rolling over the floor LMAO… not that the article is funny but at the sheer audacity of this Mr. Harris Bin Munawar… oh boy! first try to write some essays on 'my chair', 'my pen' etc. for some time and then think of trying your hand at sarcasm…. !!!

  54. Rolling over the floor LMAO… not that the article is funny but at the sheer audacity of this Mr. Harris Bin Munawar… oh boy! first try to write some essays on 'my chair', 'my pen' etc. for some time and then think of trying your hand at sarcasm…. !!!

  55. hahahaha, good article. Imran Khan is being projected by establishment to serve her in the near future.

  56. I am finding it hard to understand if the writer is a male or female, because he exhibits enormous amounts of jealousy from Imran Khan.
I thought he was a male because of Imran's increasing acceptability.
And I thought he was a female because he/she thinks Jemima was the wrong choice for Imran and he/she could have done well.
May the author please remove the confusion.
And what is with his hairstyle … duh!!!

  57. If this is standard of pakistan Today's editorial board, I will make sure never to buy it, and never let any of my acquaintances read such street humour. Was it copied from a punjabi stage drama?!!!

  58. I honestly don't know what to compliment more about this article/ or even about the author. Your Despicable sense of humor or your matchless power enriched in nib.

  59. Our emotional youth without dephth of real and pragmatic politics take it the same to run the Shoukat khana aand a country of 118 million people , without know it that Pakistaan is the most difficult country on earth to govern

  60. In my opinion Harris Bin Munawar is *wrong and got the chrommosomes of Zaradari. Bachay ko ya patha nahi pakistan kiss nay aor kun banaya.

  61. Putting the writers photo and his comments on Imran Khan in context, he appears jealous of Imran Khans pulling power. At 50 something he still gets girls. I don't agree with Mr. Khans political views but the article doesnt discuss Mr. Khans politics as much as it takes a sly dig at his diminishing looks.
    Very petty indeed.

  62. I could be wrong but doesn't it seem from his mug-shot picture, he himself has gotten hair transplant done?

  63. Mr. Harris Bin Munawar, Not Agree with You.

1947: Quaid-e-Azam…the symbol of hope for all Pakistanis.
2011: Imran Khan…the symbol of hope for all Pakistanis.

  64. Wikileaks openly declared zardari and nawaz as corrupt. In fact zardari was described as by far the most corrupt pakistani politician. Imran Khan is described as honest and incorruptable. Before someone criticizes wikileaks as american propoganda, why would americans praise their biggest enemy and criticize there puppets.
