There’s news that Ranveer Singh will soon begin shooting for an Anurag Kashyap film. If sources are to be believed, this movie will tell the story of the underworld and will be set against a 1970 backdrop. Apparently, a similar film titled ‘Black Velvet’ was being talked about earlier in which Aamir Khan was to play the main lead. However, this Anurag Kashyap movie could well be ‘Black Velvet’ re-worked upon with Ranveer playing protagonist. If the above grapevine is true, Ranveer has surely bagged a feather in his cap. We also hear that Ranveer has signed on the dotted line for Shaad Ali and Vikramaditya Motwane’s films. We guess we’ll be seeing enough and more of him on the big screen in the coming year.
