It is the need of the hour that the traffic police throughout the country should be reformed according to the Motorway Police and Islamabad Traffic Police. The increase in traffic and with it the rise in traffic rules violation resulting in loss of life and property require a police force which can assure strict compliance. The management of traffic and preventing gridlocks is another challenge in the urban areas.
The presence of an efficient traffic police will also ensure a smooth management. Unfortunately, as the situation prevails the administration is assigning minimum attention towards reforming the police and without some drastic steps, the situation will not move in a positive direction.
