At least three NATO oil tankers were set on fire by unidentified armed men in Dasht area on Saturday, officials said.
According to Levies officials, the three oil tankers carrying fuel for NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan were on their way to Kandahar from Karachi when unidentified armed men on motorcycles intercepted the tankers and opened fire at them on the National Highway near Dasht.
As a result, the tankers caught fire and were completely destroyed. The assailants managed to escape from the scene while no one had claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
