Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Nazir Ahmed Sangi, inaugurated the mailing of textbooks for the MA and MSc level programmes for the autumn semester 2011. The mailing started on Thursday and included MSc textbooks for Economics, Pakistan Studies, Gender and Women Studies and MA books and study material for Arabic, Islamic Studies and Urdu.
After the inauguration, Dr Sangi said all university employees working in the mailing section deserved acknowledgment for starting mailing the books in advance, which greatly facilitated the students and gave them a head start. He said the university would not only pay tribute to them by taking keen interest in their responsibilities, but remuneration as well. Dr Sangi said AIOU was imparting education to the masses at their doorsteps from the grassroot to PhD level.
The university has posted provisional result cards (completers) to SSC and BA students across the country at their given addresses after the declaration of these results for the autumn semester 2010. According to the deputy controller of exams (certificates), 4,137 provisional result cards (completers) of SSC and 26,598 provisional result cards (completers) of the BA programme had been dispatched to students.

yaar for God sake tell me myri msc pak studies ki books ni mili aur exams ko sirf 2 mah reh gaye hain 051-9257282 per koi call b ni attend krta aiou k books department may what should i do Islamabad ka safr 6 ghantay ka hai sialkot say aur subah 3 bajay niklo to 9 am pohnchoon ga mgr soch raha tha k jo loog emails aur phone ka jawab ni dyty wo bhala mjy kya time dain gay ya kon sa books mil jain g….? bahanay bana dain gay…what should i do yaar just 2 months are left and no books…how could i be able to make assignments …and how could i complete preparation of my exams within 2 months….pechlay sal August may admission howa tha mgr 7 8 mah baad bhi books ni mili soo poor ..yaaaaar kithay jaye banda…?
