The dengue epidemic seems uncontrollable, as eight more cases were reported in Punjab on Monday.
One case was diagnosed in Jinnah Hospital while four patients tested positive in Services Hospital. Two cases were registered each in Institute of Public Health and a private health establishment. Seven of these cases belonged to Lahore and one patient belonged to Jhelum. The total number of dengue cases in Lahore has climbed to 20.
