KARACHI: A case was registered against Chief Minister’s Adviser Jehangir Dilawar Khanji at the Darakhshan police station on Friday for harassing and torturing a custom officer. According to the police, Customs Assistant Collector Mrs Shah Bano lodged a report against Khanji under articles 452, 506, 337, 34 and 252 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
“The allegations against me are baseless and I am not aware of any report lodged against me,” Khanji told Pakistan Today. Sources said that Bano is Khanji’s close relative and there is a dispute between them over a property in a posh area of Karachi.
