JACOBABAD: At least 170 Hindu pilgrims stranded in flash floods following heavy rains in the Kachhi area of Bolan district in Balochistan have returned home safely.
They were given a warm welcome when they reached Dera Murad Jamali. They said the Pakistan Army, Frontier Constabulary and the government of Balochistan lent valuable rescue support to them and three helicopters were used for their safe rescue.
Later, the district administration provided them with buses to reach home. These pilgrims were stranded in hilly terrain during flash floods while they were visiting their ancient temple in a remote area.
