ISLAMABAD: The federal government has issued an advertisement to hire experts from the private sector for proper implementation of the 100-day plan as it could not achieve the set targets in the given time.
Seven people, including three team leaders and four senior associates, are being sought for the implementation of the agenda in order to meet the challenges being faced b the government. Potential candidates are expected to have experience of governance and institutional reforms, economic, and social development, agriculture, water and social development and they would be hired for a period of two years, extendable by mutual consent.
Pakistan Today has learnt that the hiring process is underway and no appointments have been made so far. Earlier, the consultants were given the task to evaluate the performance of ministries and update the premier in this regard and they were performing their duties on pro bono basis but now full-time consultants are being sought.
Interestingly, the Prime Minister Office has removed the details of the performance of the ministries from its website.
