Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday left for the United Kingdom on a two-day official visit to attend a Commonwealth meeting.
Speaking to media persons before his departure, the minister said that he would be representing Pakistan in a “19th foreign ministers meeting” of the Commonwealth in London at the invitation of his British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt.
“Pakistan will continue playing its due role in the Commonwealth,” he added.
The foreign minister said that he will have the opportunity to meet his counterparts of other member states of the Commonwealth on the sidelines of the conference, adding that he will present Pakistan’s report about mandates of 2018.
