ISLAMABAD: Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) on Tuesday morning foiled a bid to smuggle heroin abroad by recovering 50 heroin-filled capsules from a passenger’s stomach at New Islamabad Airport.
The caught passenger, who identified as Naeem, confessed of concealing heroin-filled capsules in his stomach during the investigation, ANF said in a statement.
Naeem, who is a resident of Rawalpindi has been transferred to hospital after being apprehended while attempting to board an international airline’s flight, ANF added.
