Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s doctor said on Tuesday that two valves of the latter’s heart are closed and a pacemaker would have to be installed to balance his heartbeat.
Dr Adnan said they haven’t taken a decision on whether Nawaz should be sent out of Pakistan for treatment or not. He said they haven’t made a road map for Nawaz’s treatment and it will move forward after the recommendations of a medical board.
Commenting on Nawaz’s health, Dr Adnan said that his heart rhythm is not normal and he has been prescribed medicines for his heart problem.
Nawaz has undergone different medical tests and the doctors are monitoring his health closely, Dr Adnan said.
The former prime minister is currently out on bail granted on medical grounds.
