KARACHI: Three suspected robbers were killed in an encounter with police in Gulshan-e-Jamal area of the metropolis on Wednesday.
According to SSP East, the robbers were attempting a robbery near Dalmia’s graveyard in Gulshan-e-Jamal area when a police team reached the spot. Seeing the police the robbers opened fire on police party. However, in retaliatory fire, the three robbers sustained bullet injuries and one of them died on the spot.
Police also claimed to have recovered weapons, snatched valuables and two motorbikes from the spot.
They were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment where the injured succumbed to their injuries.
