ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Tourism Development Corporation is all set to stage the 14th Cholistan Jeep rally from February 14 to 17 with the collaboration of Cholistan Development Authority, Bahawalpur’s Divisional Administration and the Desert Rangers.
According to reports, “The Desert Rangers and Pakistan Army officials will be deployed for security as the rally route will include the Rahim Yar Khan district for the first time.”
It was further reported that “during previous years, the desert areas touching the boundaries of Bahawalnagar district were included in the rally route”.
About 1000 personnel will be deployed for security during the rally and a cultural night will be held along with illumination and fireworks display will also be arranged at the historic Derawar Fort.
